Genre: Fiction–Mystery
Completed: 21 May 2023
Summary & Review:
Safe cracker Brian Holloway is called to a mysterious job at a wealthy man’s house. The safe the client needs open was built into the house over a century ago and is a mysterious brand Brian has never seen before. Despite a gnawing feeling in his stomach, Brian successfully cracks the safe but soon wishes he had never taken the job.
This was a fun little story. I think it was a great length for the idea as it would have been very difficult to stretch this into a full novel.
