Summary & Review:
This report, produced in January 2021, is a patriotic response to the nonsensical 1619 Project that has been en vogue recently. The authors discuss the principles upon which America was founded, the shortcomings the country has sometimes suffered, and the proper way to inculcate love of country in the rising generation.
While short, the report did a nice job of introducing some of the key concepts and beliefs that guided the formation of America. I thought they spent a little too much time pandering to a certain audience, but compared to the insane 1619 Project this was solid. I wish VDH had been in charge rather than just a committee member. Oh well.
