558. Title & Author: Partners by John Grisham (74 pages)
Genre: Fiction–Novella
Completed: 29 January 2023
Summary & Review:
Up and coming criminal defense attorney Sebastian Rudd takes on the case of a young man accused of murdering a cop in cold blood. As the details come out, Rudd realizes the man on trial only killed the police officer out of self-defense but now he must convince a jury of that.
This book is a prequel to Grisham’s Rogue Lawyer which I haven’t read. It was short and sweet, but still developed the characters and story to make a very readable novella.
