35. Title & Author: The Homeric Hymns translated by Apostolos N. Athanassakis (62 pages)Genre: Mythology--Greek Mythology
Completed: 16 May 2008
Summary & Review:This book is a collection of 34 hymns to various Greek gods. Scholars agree Homer didn't actually write them, but the name has stuck. I read this book for my Greek & Roman Mythology class at BYU.
Zzzzzzz.....Sorry, what was I talking about? This book was boring. It was like reading a dictionary. I agree that it wasn't written by Homer because Homer is much more entertaining.
