574. Title & Author: Mistborn: Secret History by Brandon Sanderson (155 pages)
Genre: Fiction–Fantasy
Completed: 30 June 2024
Summary & Review:
Mirroring the events of the original Mistborn trilogy, this story takes place after Kelsier’s physical death. As he enters the spirit realm, he fights against going into the Beyond and finds a way to help Vin defeat the powers of evil.
This book would make absolutely no sense to anyone who hadn’t at least read Mistborn (#377). With the background of that book, and also the other two novels in the original trilogy, this was an interesting addition to the Cosmere. Parts of the story were wrapped up a little too quickly, especially near the end, but overall it’s always fun to read something with Kelsier.
