Summary & Review:
Taxes have been a part of societies for all of recorded history. Unfortunately, even after thousands of years of experience, governments still do not apply tax policies that would benefit their citizens and increase their freedoms. In this book, Frisby examines the history of taxes, the present trends, the changing landscape for them, and proposes his ideal tax policies.
This was actually a really interesting book. Frisby was a clear writer and moved the book along at a good pace. The section on Hong Kong and its massive economic growth during the 20th Century was particularly interesting.
