Summary & Review:
San Francisco detective Frost Easton gets called to a strange crime scene where a seemingly normal, healthy girl has a psychotic break and throws herself off the Bay Bridge. This case is too close to another recent “suicide” for Frost so he digs into the girls’ backgrounds and realizes they have both recently seen the same psychiatrist. After meeting with Dr. Stein and learning about her methods, he realizes someone is using her methods to destroy her patients and get revenge.
This was a fairly entertaining thriller. I thought the concept behind the therapy the character Dr. Stein had developed was interesting, and then it was fun to see the killer use it for evil. The ending kind of fizzled out, but I still enjoyed the book.
