Genre: Fiction--Children’s Literature
Completed: 18 January 2021
Summary & Review:
Twelve-year-old Michael attempts to get his bratty younger sister in trouble by turning the bird in his dad’s antique cuckoo clock around backward. However, Michael gets more than he bargained for as time itself starts moving backward and Michael wakes up younger everyday. Can he find the clock and put time back in the right direction before he disappears.
This was one of my favorite Goosebumps we’ve read. I really enjoyed Stine showing how Michael’s twelve-year-old self experienced the changes as he woke up younger each day. Also, the ending was pretty funny, too.
