Summary & Review:
This volume is included along with the LDS standard works in a special group of small and light books published for members of the church who serve in the military. With that in mind, this book is an all-in-one reference for members and includes special instructions for armed services members, a large glossary of gospel topics, explanation of the proper way to do ordinances, and a selection of hymns.
This book really would be indispensable for those members of the military who find themselves “down range” as we say without an organized church unit to attend. Though small in size, this book contains everything one would need to organize a service members group, have church meetings including the administration of the sacrament with music, write talks, teach lessons, and answer questions from friends and colleagues.
