29. Title & Author: The Ambler Warning by Robert Ludlum (632 pages)*Genre: Fiction--Action & Suspense
Completed: 4 April 2008
Summary & Review:Former government agent and assassin Harrison Ambler escapes from the ultra high security insane asylum where he had been put against his will. Now free, he has to find out who he is and stop a plot against the progressive leader of China.
This was the last book written by Ludlum before he died, and he actually left it unfinished so another author had to complete it. I think I could pick out the exact page where the switch happened because the ending pages weren't nearly as well written as Ludlum's at the beginning. But, I do have to admit that there was a pretty surprising twist at the end (which Ludlum undoubtedly had planned anyway).
