Robert Ludlum, the creator of the Jason Bourne character, only wrote three books with that character before he passed away. Since his death, Van Lustbader has written three more and this is the second of those. The book read like an action movie with Bourne just kicking the crap out of anyone and everyone in his way. It was entertaining, but it didn't exactly seem like the same Jason Bourne that Ludlum wrote in books like The Bourne Identity (#9).
