19. Title & Author: The Tomb (A Repairman Jack Novel) by F. Paul Wilson (426 pages)Genre: Fiction--Science Fiction, Mystery, & Thriller
Completed: 13 January 2008
Summary & Review:
This is the first novel that features the character Repairman Jack. As he works on one of his fix-it jobs, he gets tangled up in a century-plus old curse from an ancient Indian (as in the country India, not the Native Americans) temple. He faces demons and more to save the ones he loves.
I really like the character of Repairman Jack (see also my review for Crisscross (#13)), and I enjoy Wilson's writing style immensely. This book was a little too science fiction-y for me, but I still enjoyed it because of the character and author.
